DAY 1 RIO DE JANEIRO

You will be picked-up in the lobby of your hotel between 7:30 am and 8:10 am, depending on the hotel location for a quick tour in Rio de Janeiro visiting the two most famous landmarks: the Christ the Redeemer Statue and Sugarloaf Mountain. Get picked up from your hotel and drive up to the Christ the Redeemer Statue, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, on top of Corcovado Mountain. The drive is short and beautiful, traveling through the Tijuca Forest before opening to incredible views of the entire city. Then go to Sugarloaf Mountain, located in the Urca neighborhood. Ride a series of 2 cable cars in route to the summit, first arriving at Urca Hill, and then continuing to the top of Sugarloaf, reaching a height of 1,295 feet (395m). Conclude the tour with an exquisitely beautiful panorama of Rio de Janeiro.

DAY 3 RIO DE JANEIRO

Life is a carnival and even more so if we are in Rio de Janeiro! This experience will allow us to discover all the effort, training, hard work and production behind the iconic and massive Rio Carnival, an event that attracts visitors from all over the world year after year. We will tour the City of Samba, the warehouses where the most recognized samba schools build and store floats and colorful dance costumes. We will also visit the Rio Grande Samba School Factory to delve even further into the world of samba. On the tour we will see different processes of the schools at the level of production of floats, clothing and all the people involved in making the parade a reality (musicians, choreographers, dancers, artisans, producers, designers). In the exhibition hall we will learn about the history of this dance and the historical schools. To live the complete experience, we can try on original costumes and take pictures with them, we can also participate in a samba class to learn the basic steps of a professional dancer. A half-day tour for nature lovers! In the purest style of a safari, aboard an open-top truck and with the help of our guide, we will discover the exuberance and diversity of Brazilian flora. Within its 137 hectares, the Botanical Garden houses more than 6,000 species of plants, including a wide variety of bromeliads and orchids. It has a sensory garden and an avenue of bicentennial palm trees. Among the most striking tree species we will find the Brazilwood (tree that gives its name to the country). We will also visit the turtle lake and the giant water lily lake. Another point in the city that we will visit will be the Vista Chinesa viewpoint (388 m), one of the few places from where you can see Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, Ipanema and Leblon. The adventure continues in the Tijuca National Forest, the largest urban forest in the world. Here we will follow a low intensity trail and reach the Taunay waterfall. While we walk, our guide will tell us everything about the Atlantic forest and its biodiversity. We will also take a panoramic walk along the famous San Conrado beach, with its sky crossed by paragliders and hang gliders, popular activities in the city.
3.- Crazy for football: Tour Maracana and Flamingo

A half-day tour designed especially for soccer lovers! We will arrive at the legendary Maracaná stadium where we can see the locker rooms, the warm-up room and the press room. We can also enter the main locations of the stadium, such as the stands, the substitutes’ bench and even the field. On our tour we will also be able to see the collection of objects related to matches, historical milestones and emblematic players who passed through the most important football stadium in the entire country. We will also visit the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, the most popular team in Brazil. We will take the Gávea Tour to see the basketball gym, the football stadium, the gymnastics area, and the water park, where prominent sports figures train. At the Flamengo Museum we will review the history of the club through images, audios, and t-shirts. The best thing about this visit is that we will be able to see up close the trophies that the club has accumulated over the years, such as the Libertadores 2019, the Super Cup, and the Recopa 2020. Our day will not be complete without stopping by the official Flamengo store to acquire a souvenir of this experience.

One of the most important aspects of the natural wonder that is the Iguazú National Park is the incredible diversity of flora and fauna it houses, especially birds. Today, we will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with many of the fascinating species that inhabit the tropical world of Iguazú! The Bird Park is an important institution, since it is the only one in the world dedicated to the conservation of the birds of the Atlantic Forest. During our tour we will have encounters with majestic toucans, herons, elegant flamingos, imposing harpy eagles, owls and even some reptiles such as alligators, anacondas, and boa constrictors. We will pass through enormous natural aviaries where hundreds of macaws, parrots, peahens, and other birds will fly overhead in a genuinely immersive experience. In addition, we will learn about the great work that the institution does in the rescue and rehabilitation of different species. The best part is that our visit to this incredible sanctuary contributes to the conservation of the most endangered species of the Atlantic Forest. Truly, a must-see destination during a visit to Iguazu!
DAY 5 FOZ DO IGUASSU
We will explore the wonder of Iguazú Falls from the Argentine side! Crossing the Iguazú River through the famous Tancredo Neves bridge, and just 28 km from the city of Foz de Iguazú, we will find ourselves in the Argentine National Park. After passing through the visitor center, we will take the train that takes us to one of the most impressive points of the place: the imposing Devil’s Throat. Located in the middle of the Brazilian and Argentine waterfalls, this is the largest waterfall in Iguazú, and we can feel up close the impressive force with which the water falls in the middle of this natural spectacle. Our adventure then continues on foot: we will visit the other falls while we tour the Upper Circuit of the Park, which covers a distance of 1,200 meters and, if time permits, we can also tour the Lower Circuit, which has a length of 1,750 meters. The trails will take us through lush forests, and we will be accompanied at all times by the powerful roar of Iguazú’s waters. A true feast for our senses!

Optional Excursions : The Big Adventure Tour – Shared Service – With supplement
This tour is the ideal combination of jungle and waterfalls. We will begin our exciting adventure aboard modern 4x4 trucks to travel around 6km of lush vegetation, accompanied by experienced guides who will tell us about the incredible ecosystem that surrounds us along the way. We will arrive at the dock to board a boat that will take us to navigate the lower canyon of the Iguazú River, passing through various rapids until we approach the waterfall area, with an impressive view from the calm waters of San Martín Island. From here, the most exciting part begins! We will arrive at the Tres Mosqueteros waterfall, offering views of the waterfalls on both the Argentine and Brazilian sides, and then arrive at the famous and long-awaited Devil’s Throat, the largest waterfall in Iguazú. Our adrenaline rush will come when we encounter the majestic San Martín waterfall, the largest that a boat can approach. We will undoubtedly end up soaked by the end of this excursion (we recommend bringing a change of clothes and shoes), but with incomparable memories of this natural spectacle.
IMPORTANT: We recommend taking a second pair of shoes, informal clothes to change because in the Great Adventure excursion everyone will get wet.

DAY 6 FOZ DO IGUASSU – BUENOS AIRES
Brazilian side: an unforgettable adventure on foot! Starting from the Hotel das Cataratas, we will take the approximately 1 km route that will bring us face to face with one of the most impressive natural wonders in the world and that will change our perspective on the power of nature. Born in the Sierra do Mar, the Iguazú River travels 1,320 km to form this imposing natural sculpture, with around 280 falls with an average height of 60 meters. We will take the main road of the national park, immersing ourselves in the lush vegetation that populates the impressive local ecosystem. We will arrive at the Mirador de las Cataratas for a first impressive view of the park and the waterfalls, accompanied by the deafening roar of the water surrounding us. We will continue along the carefully designed paths to get closer to the action and we will be able to feel the breeze and mist in the air as we walk over the turbulent waters. We will be able to see the famous Devil’s Throat, the largest waterfall in the system, and we will witness the impressive force with which the water falls in this majestic natural spectacle!

This is the perfect tour to discover the charm of Argentina’s capital, from the chic districts of Recoleta and Palermo, to historic Plaza de Mayo, and architectural icons such as the Colon opera house, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the palace of Congress. The program finishes in old town San Telmo, home of the city’s aristocracy until the late 19th century; Caminito street, in La Boca, the colorful shelter for Italian immigrants by the Riachuelo, and the young thriving restaurant scene at the Puerto Madero waterfront.
