The trip continues along the Pacific coast in Jacó, a seaside resort known for its beaches and relaxed atmosphere. Arenal Volcano Extension
from February 27 to March 2, 2027 – 4 Days / 3 Nights
Extend your stay in Costa Rica with a getaway to the Arenal Volcano region, known for its lush landscapes and outdoor activities. You will stay at Lomas del Volcán in a peaceful bungalow setting with beautiful views of the volcano.

DAY 1, FEBRUARY 9 ARRIVAL IN COSTA RICA
Upon your arrival in Costa Rica, you will be welcomed at San José International Airport and transferred by private group transfer to your hotel, a journey of approximately 20 minutes. Upon arrival, you will proceed with check-in and have time to settle in and relax after your trip. The evening and dinner will be at leisure.

DAY 2, FEBRUARY 10 SAN JOSÉ CITY TOUR
After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for a morning half-day guided tour of San José. This excursion includes transportation, the services of a guide, and entrance fees to the Gold Museum and the National Theatre, as well as a panoramic tour of the city. Lunch is at leisure. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore the city at your own pace or relax at the hotel. The evening and dinner are also at leisure.

DAY 3, FEBRUARY 11 CARTAGO AND IRAZÚ VOLCANO TOUR
After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart on a private guided group transfer (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes) to Cartago for a full-day excursion to Irazú Volcano and the city of Cartago. You will enjoy a guided walking tour of Irazú Volcano National Park, including entrance fees. The tour continues with a transfer to the historic city of Cartago (approximately 35 minutes), followed by a guided visit to Lankester Botanical Garden, with entrance included. You will then travel to the Orosi region (approximately 20 minutes), where you will enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant. At the end of the day, you will return to San José. The evening and dinner will be at leisure.

DAY 4, FEBRUARY 12 SAN JOSÉ – JACÓ
After breakfast at the hotel, you will leave San José for a private guided transfer to Jacó Beach, located in the Central Pacific region (approximately 2 hours). Upon arrival, you will proceed with hotel check-in to settle in and begin enjoying your new destination. Lunch and dinner are at leisure.

DAYS 5-17, FEBRUARY 13 – 25 JACÓ
Days at leisure to enjoy the beach area, the hotel’s facilities, or explore the surroundings at your own pace. You may also take part in optional excursions ($) such as a visit to Manuel Antonio National Park, a mangrove tour in Isla Damas, a zipline experience, horseback riding, a gondola ride, a catamaran cruise, and many other activities.

After a final breakfast at the hotel, you will leave the coast for a private guided transfer to the city of San José, with a duration of approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, you will proceed with hotel check-in to settle in comfortably. The evening and dinner will be at leisure.

DAY 19, FEBRUARY 27 DEPARTURE FROM COSTA RICA
Enjoy your breakfast before your private guided transfer to San José International Airport (approximately 20 minutes) for your return flight. You may also choose to extend your stay to the Arenal Volcano region or continue your journey with an extension in Colombia.
