During your stay, you will discover the highlights of the destination through two included excursions: a full-day city tour to explore its history and main landmarks, as well as a beach getaway to the Rosario Islands (Majagua), famous for their turquoise waters and idyllic scenery.

Combined Long Stay in Costa Rica

Discover the many facets of Costa Rica through an itinerary combining culture, nature, and beachside relaxation. Your journey begins in San José, the capital, where you will explore its main cultural highlights during a guided tour including museums and iconic landmarks. You will then set out to discover the country’s natural treasures with an excursion to the Irazú Volcano and the Cartago region, blending spectacular landscapes, botanical gardens, and local traditions. The journey continues along the Pacific coast to Jacó, a popular seaside resort known for its beaches and laid‑back atmosphere. You will enjoy several free days to relax or take part in a wide range of optional activities such as visiting Manuel Antonio National Park, mangrove excursions, or zip‑lining adventures. Finally, you will return to San José for a last night before departure, bringing this enriching and relaxing journey to a close.

DAY 1, FEBRUARY 27 ARRIVAL IN COLOMBIA
Upon arrival in Colombia, you will be greeted at Cartagena Airport and transferred by private group transport to your hotel. Once there, you will check in and settle in to rest after your journey. Evening and dinner at leisure.

DAY 2, FEBRUARY 28 CARTAGENA CITY TOUR
After breakfast, you will depart for a full‑day guided city tour (approximately 8 hours). The excursion will be conducted in a private vehicle with an English‑speaking guide and will allow you to discover the city’s main landmarks, including the historic center, San Felipe Castle, and the walled city. The tour also includes entrance to San Pedro Claver Church. Lunch during the visit is free. Evening and dinner at leisure.

DAY 3, MARCH 1 BEACH EXCURSION TO MAJAGUA
After breakfast, you will depart for a full‑day beach excursion to the Rosario Islands on the Majagua beach (approximately 8 hours). Transportation and assistance from the hotel to the pier are included, as well as a shared boat transfer to Majagua Island. You will enjoy a full day at the beach in a paradisiacal setting with turquoise waters, and have the opportunity to savor a traditional lunch served on the beach.

DAYS 4-13, MARCH 2 – 11 CARTAGENA
Free days to enjoy the beach, the facilities of the Capilla del Mar Hotel, or to discover Cartagena at your own pace. You may relax by the pool, take in views of the Caribbean Sea, or explore the surroundings, including the Old Town, local shops, and restaurants. Optional excursions ($) may also be offered to enhance your stay according to your interests.
