    DAY 1 BOARD THE INDIAN PACIFIC IN SYDNEY

    Board the legendary Indian Pacific in Sydney and begin one of the world’s great rail journeys. As the train departs Central Station and winds through the dramatic scenery of the Blue Mountains, settle into your private cabin or relax in the lounge. The afternoon unfolds at an unhurried pace as you ease into life onboard, before enjoying your first regionally inspired dinner, paired with fine Australian wines, while the landscape gradually gives way to the vastness of the outback.

    DAY 2 BROKEN HILL - ADELAIDE

    Wake in the historic mining town of Broken Hill, where an immersive Off Train Experience offers insight into the stories, characters and landscapes that shaped Australia’s outback heritage. Back onboard, enjoy breakfast and lunch as the journey continues through South Australia. In the evening, arrive in Adelaide for a curated culinary and cultural experience, choosing from a selection of exclusive outings that showcase the region’s celebrated food, wine and local icons, before rejoining the train to continue west.

    DAY 3 THE NULLARBOR PLAIN - RAWLINNA

    Today is devoted to the vast, mesmerising expanse of the Nullarbor Plain, one of the most remote and extraordinary rail journeys on earth. Step off briefly at the tiny outpost of Cook, a reminder of life at the edge of Australia’s rail network. As night falls, arrive at Rawlinna, where a memorable evening awaits on one of the country’s largest sheep stations, dining under an endless canopy of stars or gathering around a crackling fire, depending on the season.

    DAY 4 AVON VALLEY - PERTH

    On the final morning, watch the scenery soften as the train glides through Western Australia’s picturesque Avon Valley. Mid‑afternoon, arrive in Perth, marking the end of an epic transcontinental crossing from ocean to ocean aboard the Indian Pacific.

    The Indian Pacific is an iconic, transcontinental rail journey that traverses 4,352 km from Sydney to Perth (or vice versa), connecting the Pacific and Indian Oceans. As you board in Sydney’s Central Station or disembark in Perth’s East Perth Terminal, you’ll be immersed in the timeless romance of rail travel. The route winds through dramatic landscapes – from the Blue Mountains and arid deserts to expansive goldfields and lush valleys – offering a seamless and unforgettable passage across Australia’s diverse terrain.
