Set out to explore the city streets and you will discover beautiful and original art galleries, design shops and handicraft markets, as well as a great selection of restaurants, bars and cafes. Night owls can enjoy a taste of lively Latino nightlife in Bellavista!

This walking tour is the perfect Fall in love with Santiago’s charms discovering it as a local: walking. We will start the tour by boarding the subway and seeing some of the most picturesque stations. For example, the “Universidad de Chile” station is adorned by a mural created by a local artist, and it was chosen as one of the most beautiful in the world. We will a local market to appreciate Chile’s coastal bounty, reflected in its fish and shellfish, and its diversity of fruits and vegetables. We will continue walking through Santiago’s downtown to the Main Square (Plaza de Armas), a sample of the fantastic architecture that shines in every corner. Chilean flavors will not be absent, and we will make a stop to try local snacks such as empanadas and drinks made with local fruits. Finally, if energy and time allow it, we will arrive at the Bellavista neighborhood, one of the most representative full of charming streets. From there, you can explore the city on your own (we recommend ascending Cerro San Cristobal) or return to the hotel after a day of unforgettable experiences.

To continue with the program as scheduled, your suggested flight to Easter Island must depart from Santiago between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM. If your flight arrives outside this timeframe, you will need to arrange a private transfer, which may incur additional costs. Please note that you must arrive at Santiago Airport 3 hours prior to departure. Flight Santiago de Chile – Rapa Nui (not included). Welcome to Rapa Nui, a land of mystery and ancestral culture! Upon arrival at Mataveri Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our local staff with a traditional flower lei, symbolizing Rapa Nui hospitality. You will then be transferred directly to your hotel to begin your unforgettable Easter Island experience. In the afternoon, enjoy a shared half-day Ahu Akivi excursion, discovering the fascinating archaeological heritage of the island’s ancient inhabitants. Visit Ahu Akivi, a unique ceremonial platform featuring seven moai statues facing the ocean, traditionally believed to honour the first Polynesian explorers who arrived on the island. Continue to Puna Pau, a red scoria quarry where the pukao, the distinctive red headdresses placed on some moai, were carved. From here, admire panoramic views over Hanga Roa and the harmonious connection between the island’s landscapes, culture and spirituality. The journey continues to Ana Te Pahu, an impressive cave created by ancient lava flows and once used by the Rapa Nui people as a refuge and dwelling. Through these remarkable sites, discover how astronomy, geography and spirituality shaped the construction of ceremonial centres during the final era of the moai, reflecting the cultural evolution and profound connection of the Rapa Nui people with the universe.

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full-day Tongariki Tour, including Rano Raraku Volcano and Anakena Beach, on a shared basis. The day begins at Ahu Akahanga, a historic ceremonial site where, according to oral tradition, the first king of the island is believed to rest after leaving his original settlement in Anakena. Continue to the impressive Rano Raraku volcano, known as the “moai factory,” where approximately 400 statues remain in various stages of carving, offering a fascinating insight into the artistry and spirituality of the ancient Rapa Nui sculptors. The journey continues to Ahu Tongariki, the largest ceremonial platform on the island, where fifteen majestic moai stand proudly facing the ocean, representing the resilience of the Rapa Nui culture and the deep connection with their ancestors. After a lunch break, continue to Te Pito Kura, home to the famous magnetic stone known as “the navel of the world” and the moai Paro, the largest statue ever transported from the quarry. The day concludes at Hanga Rau or Te Ariki, one of the most significant cultural sites of Rapa Nui, where you will visit Ahu Nau-Nau, located on the beautiful Anakena Beach with its white sand and crystal-clear waters. Take some time to relax by the sea and connect with the essence of this extraordinary island. Guests who wish to do so may bring a swimsuit to enjoy approximately 30 minutes at this beautiful bay.

Enjoy a half-day Orongo and Rano Kau Volcano excursion on a shared basis, discovering some of the most important ceremonial sites of Rapa Nui, where history, geography and spirituality come together. The experience begins with a visit to the majestic Rano Kau volcano, whose impressive crater, the largest and deepest on the island, offers breathtaking views over the inner lagoon and the dramatic cliffs overlooking the ocean. Continue to the ancestral village of Orongo, a sacred ceremonial site where the worship of the god Make-Make and the legendary Tangata Manu (Birdman) competition took place. Surrounded by petroglyphs and archaeological remains, learn about the fascinating legend of the Birdman competition, where the first person to retrieve the Manutara bird’s egg was believed to receive supernatural powers and govern the island for one year. The tour continues at Vinapu, a ceremonial platform renowned for the remarkable precision of its stonework, often compared to Inca construction techniques. Discover the remains of moai and pukao, silent witnesses to a period of cultural transformation and splendour. This experience offers a deeper understanding of Rapa Nui mythology, the worldview of its ancient inhabitants and the important role that the island’s unique geography played in shaping its traditions.
