DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN BOLOGNA
Arrival in Bologna and transfer on your own to the hotel and check-in. You will have time to relax before a traditional dinner of local seasonal produce from Emilia-Romagna. Overnight in Bologna.

DAY 2 WALKING GUIDED TOUR OF BOLOGNA
Enjoy a day in Bologna, including a walk around the food shops in the market area. The main points of interests on your tour are Piazza Maggiore (Piazza Grande) with the Neptune’s fountain, and St Petronio’s Basilica. You will have free time for lunch, perhaps at a typical Osteria where you will start with the famous Bologna mortadella known all over the world, continued with a dish of handmade traditional tortellini. Return at your hotel in the afternoon, and enjoy dinner at leisure.

DAY 3 BOLOGNA - OPTIONAL FERRARA EXCURSION (+$)
After breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure to explore the city, or join an optional excursion (+$).

Optional Excursions : Join a delightful half-day excursion to Ferrara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rich history, Renaissance architecture, and vibrant atmosphere. Upon arrival, meet your professional local guide for a walking tour of the historic city center. Discover Ferrara’s most iconic landmarks, including the magnificent Este Castle, elegant medieval and Renaissance streets, and the beautiful cathedral square. Learn about the city’s noble past, artistic heritage, and the influential Este family that shaped its development. After the tour, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace. Have lunch (not included) at one of the city’s traditional restaurants or cafés, sample local specialties, and soak up the authentic atmosphere of Ferrara. DAY 4 PARMA AND PARMIGGIANO WITH PROSCIUTTO TASTING
Today, enjoy a full-day excursion dedicated to the culinary traditions of the Parma region, one of Italy’s most celebrated gastronomic destinations. Begin with a visit to a traditional Parmigiano Reggiano dairy, where you will discover the artisanal production process behind this world-famous cheese. Learn about its heritage and craftsmanship, then enjoy a tasting of selected varieties. Continue to a renowned cured meat producer to gain insight into the preparation of Parma’s finest specialties, followed by a tasting of authentic local flavors. The excursion concludes in the historic city of Parma, where you will have free time to explore at your own pace. Stroll through the elegant streets, admire the city’s architecture, enjoy lunch, or browse the local shops and boutiques. Transfer back in the afternoon. Dinner on your own.

DAY 6 MODENA WITH FERRARI MUSEUM AND BALSAMIC VINEGAR TASTING
Enjoy a fascinating full day discovering some of the finest treasures of the Modena region. Your journey begins with a visit to the renowned Museo Ferrari, where you will explore the history and legendary achievements of one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands. Continue your experience with a visit to a traditional Acetaia, where the world-famous Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP is produced. Discover the centuries-old production process, visit the aging rooms filled with wooden barrels, and enjoy a guided tasting of different balsamic vinegars, appreciating their unique aromas and flavors. In the afternoon, leave the engines behind for a stroll through the elegant streets of Modena. You will explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Piazza Grande, dominated by the magnificent Romanesque Modena Cathedral (Duomo di Modena) and its iconic Ghirlandina bell tower.
