DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN DUBROVNIK (SATURDAY)

You will be transferred from Dubrovnik airport to the port, where embarkation begins at 2:00 pm. Get settled in your cabin before going on a walking tour of Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of the Adriatic”, around 5:00 pm. Walk through Stradun – both a street and a square, the most famous place inside the town walls, and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your guide will show you the most interesting sights of Dubrovnik, including a visit to the Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy. After, return to the ship enjoy a Welcome reception followed by dinner this evening.

DAY 2 DUBROVNIK – SLANO (SUNDAY)

Early in the morning, enjoy the magic scenery as the ship cruises around Dubrovnik city walls to continue to one of the Elaphiti islands for a swim stop. Afternoon arrival in Slano, a peaceful fishermen’s village, and our starting point to Ston, situated on Peljesac peninsula and once fortified small village famous for its oysters. Peljesac peninsula is known as one of the best wine-producing regions in Croatia. After exploring the town, leave for a small nearby village to enjoy the authentic local oyster tasting. Overnight and Captain’s dinner on board in Slano.

DAY 3 SLANO – MLJET NATIONAL PARK – KORČULA (MONDAY)

In the morning, head north to the Island of Mljet. Join the Cruise Manager for a stroll to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park. Continue your cruise towards Korčula Island, best known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Afternoon arrival in Korčula followed by a guided walking tour of this enchanting town surrounded by walls, which is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean. Overnight in Korčula, where you can enjoy a gourmet experience at one of the multiple restaurants and bars.

DAY 4 KORČULA – HVAR ISLAND (TUESDAY)

In the morning, set sail towards the island of Hvar. Along the way to Hvar, you will have the opportunity for short break to swim, cool off, and relax (weather permitting). Lunch is on board, then sail for Hvar Town on the island of Hvar, a charming seaside town with 8 centuries of architecture, and a favorite holiday destination for international celebrities. During a walking tour, visit many historical sites, such as St Stephen’s Square and Cathedral, the Arsenal with the theatre built on its first floor (the first municipal theatre in Europe). Above the town is the impressive Fortress, Fortica, offering magnificent views over the bay and Pakleni Islands. Your evening is free to explore more and dine on your own in one of the many restaurants.

DAY 5 HVAR – BIŠEVO – VIS ISLAND (WEDNESDAY)

Early in the morning, sail to the small island Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. The possibility of your visit will depend on weather conditions; however, you will be notified of this ahead of time. Afterwards, continue to Vis, once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and restricted to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm – “the Mediterranean as it once was”, making it interesting to visit. Since the independence of Croatia, the island began opening slowly to the outside world. Some of Europe’s largest and greatest naval battles happened in the waters of Vis. Vis Island holds many historic secrets and we will explore its history by military Land Rover Defenders. Overnight in one of the harbors on the island of Vis.

DAY 6 VIS ISLAND – BRAČ ISLAND (THURSDAY)

In the early morning, head towards Milne on the Island of Brač, including a swim stop (weather permitting), in one of pristine bays, with time to relax and lunch on board. After lunch, we arrive in Milna still known as the most beautiful and most protected port on Brač. Explore this Dalmatian town dominated by a Baroque church with a typical Dalmatian bell tower. The interior of the church is rich in valuable paintings by Venetian painters. Overnight in Milna or one of the harbors on the island of Brač.
*Due to limited capacity at Milna Harbour (during peak season), the port of call may be substituted with one of the nearby harbours.

DAY 7 BRAČ ISLAND – SPLIT – TROGIR (FRIDAY)

In the morning, sail towards Trogir, with a stop along the way to swim and relax (weather permitting), with lunch on board. After docking, join a short orientation walk through this medieval city. Trogir is sometimes referred to as “miniature Venice” or a “mini-Dubrovnik” because of its ancient walls, or a “floating museum town”, as it has a masterful architecture including some stunning Venetian palaces. In the late afternoon, take a ride to Split where you will join a shared guided tour of Split and visit the seafront promenade and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. The historical center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. Enjoy your free time in Split and explore the city on your own. After an exciting evening, you will be transferred to the ship. Overnight in Trogir.
*Due to the limited capacity of the Split harbour (constructions related), you may sail directly to the port of Trogir. In that case, a transfer by bus will be organized to and from Split town for the sightseeing tour.

DAY 8 TROGIR – PLITVICE – OPATIJA (SATURDAY)

After breakfast, it’s time to disembark and bid your crew farewell. Journey north by coach for a visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Plitvice, you will walk around several of the lower lakes. The park is a natural wonder with 16 terraced lakes surrounded by wooded mountains and lush vegetation. After the visit, you will drive to Opatija, where dinner will be served at the hotel.

DAY 9 OPATIJA – POSTOJNA – VENICE (SUNDAY)

After breakfast, travel to Slovenia and visit the unique and beautiful Postojna Cave, one of the largest in Europe. You will tour this wondrous subterranean world by a miniature electric train. Afterwards, drive to Venice, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure until you gather for dinner with your Tour Director and travelling companions.
