Travel Itinerary: 

Day 1: AM – Arrival

Arrival in Basel. This is the city of culture, tradition‐conscious and open minded at the same time. Immerse yourself immediately into local life off the beaten tracks and get to know “iconic Basel”. On a self‐guided walking tour, you will join in Basel’s love affair with food. Starting at its oldest bakery you will visit five venues, each with different food concepts revealing Basel’s multicultural soul.

Day 1: PM

Discover more of Switzerland’s oldest university city as you stroll around Basel’s romantic old town with its narrow streets, hidden squares, more than 180 fountains and its well‐preserved old buildings. From nearby Schifflande pier, river boats depart for a 3‐Country cruises (50% discount with BaselCard). Alternatively, cross famous Mittlere Brucke and discover the Kleinbasel side of the Rhine. Day 2: AM

Breakfast at the hotel. Want to learn where locals prefer to shop? Whether you are looking for delicacies from a local market, want to discover little independent shops for artisan jewellery or handicraft or are looking for the major department stores, your guide will tailor‐make your shopping spree according to your wishes. Day 2: PM – Departure

Not without reason, Basel is known as Switzerland’s culture capital. Art can be seen wherever you go. View the amazing collection of works from classical to modernism or one of the sensational exhibitions at Fondation Beyeler. Visit Kunstmuseum Basel, which is the oldest publicly accessible art collection in the world. Museum Tinguely houses the greatest collection of the most important Swiss artist of the 20th century. Travel Itinerary: 

Day 1: AM – Arrival

Arrival in Bern. You will be able to get to know the unique beauty of Switzerland’s capital by joining the included city tour before midday. During your walk through the Old Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will learn numerous important and humorous facts about daily life as well as its history.

Day 1: PM

Stop at one of the small street cafes or vaulted cellars full of locals for lunch and feel the relaxed Bernese way of life. The long arcades ‐ with 6 kilometres these are the longest covered Shopping promenades in Europe ‐ invite you to stroll along the streets which preserved a very traditional atmosphere. Stop around Kornhaus area for a drink and dinner in one of the many traditional or trendy restaurants.

Day 2: AM

Breakfast at the hotel.
Head to the impressive Kirchenfeldbrucke with great views of the city and the river Aare. On the other side you will find the Einstein Museum, where a visit is included. It is a ‘must’ with its powerful presentation of the life and work of Albert Einstein, who was living in Bern when his theory of relativity turned our perceptions of space and time upside down.

Day 2: PM – Departure

A very pleasant stroll along the Aare takes you to the restaurant Old Tramdepot, where you can enjoy a seasonal dish, a locally brewed beer and fantastic views. Famous Bear Park is just two steps further. Don’t miss this opportunity to take pictures of the heraldic animal which, according to legend, gave the city its name. A little detour takes you to one of the most beautiful parks in Bern with an unrivalled view over the rooftops, the minster and the loop of the Aare River.

Arrival in Geneva. Take in the multicultural atmosphere as you head down to Quai du Mont‐Blanc, where flowers, outdoor art exhibitions abound on the picturesque northern lakeshore promenade. The included transport card allows unlimited travel on the public transport network ‐ try out the Mouettes Genevoises, the yellow taxi boats.

Day 1: PM

Discover the highlights of Geneva on a guided city tour. Travel by bus through the international sector with its peace‐making organizations, marvel at the famous fountain “Jet d’Eau” before you board the Mini Tramway for a tour through the narrow streets of the Old Town. Your guide will take you on foot to the heart of the historical centre. Have dinner at one of the traditional restaurants here or head back for 2 for 1 Swiss menu at Restaurant Hotel Edelweiss just a stone’s throw from the lake.

Day 2: AM

Breakfast at the hotel.
Admire some of the major attractions from a different perspective. Day 1: AM – Arrival

Arrival in Zurich. Take a stroll along the famous Bahnhofstrasse ‐ Zurich’s shopping paradise for a spot of window shopping. A quick detour will lead you to the narrower cobbled streets of Zurich’s Old Town and its smaller, independent artisan shops. A 2 for 1 platter with specialities from Ticino at La Bottega Di Mario will be just the thing for an early, light lunch before continuing your discovery of Zurich.

Day 1: PM

Gain an overview of the city and its most famous landmarks on the included city tour taking in highlights, viewpoints over the city and a photo stop down by the lake. In the evening head up high to Felsenegg viewpoint (incl. with Zurich Card) for an Al fresco 2 for 1 Cheese Fondue. Head towards Burkliplatz down by the lake for Lake Zurich’s leisure boats and a short relaxing lake cruise before walking along the lake towards Museum Rietberg. Day 2: PM – Departure

For lunch head into the Old Town with its numerous restaurants, cafes and bars. Our tip try restaurant Au Gust for meat and sausage specialities and receive a culinary surprise with your Zurich Card. Close by you will find the old Botanic Garden, the Toy Museum, Giacometti hall and an array of artisan shops.
