DAY 2 / MARCH 20TH - SYDNEY

This morning, you will visit the city centre and the historic Rocks precinct.  Visit Mrs Macquarie’s Chair lookout for panoramic views over Sydney Opera House, harbour, Harbour Bridge, and city centre. Continue through Woolloomooloo, Kings Cross and the historic suburb of Paddington with its Victorian terrace houses.   Visit Bondi beach and The Gap, dramatic entrance to Sydney harbour. Afternoon at leisure to explore the city at your own pace. (B)

DAY 3 / MARCH 21ST - SYDNEY – BLUE MOUNTAINS - SYDNEY

 Depart your hotel to the Blue Mountains. Your first stop will be at the Scenic World. Here you will travel by the world’s steepest railway to the valley floor of the Jamison Valley. Continue with a short forest walk on the floor of the Jamison Valley and return by Skyway gondola with panoramic views over the Jamison Valley. Then, we will have a photo stop at Echo Point lookout for panoramic views over the Jamison Valley and Three Sisters rock formation. Lunch at the Lookout restaurant overlooking the Jamison Valley.  In the afternoon, visit at the Featherdale wildlife park. You will be able to view many endemic Australian animals and birds notably: kangaroos, koalas, emus, wombats etc. Return to Sydney. (B/L)

DAY 4 / MARCH 22ND - SYDNEY – HUNTER VALLEY - SYDNEY

Depart your hotel to the Hunter Valley winegrowing region. Our first stop will be at Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard for wine tasting conducted in winery Cellar Door. Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard and Cellar Door is one of the oldest wineries in the Hunter Valley wine region. The 270-acre vineyard is named after one of Australia’s early wine pioneers. Audrey Wilkinson planted the first vines in Pokolbin in 1866 and was an early innovator in the production of fine wine. Audrey’s legacy of ‘It’s all about the taste’ is at the centre of everything the winery continues to do. Located in the foothills of the scenic Brokenback ranges the family-run business produces award-winning Semillon. It is rated a 5-star winery by Australian wine critic vigneron James Halliday and has been named in the top 10 wineries to visit in Australia by Gourmet Travelers. Transfer to Brokenwood Wines by private coach with your guide. Transfer to Brokenwood Wines, one of Australia’s most reputable premium wine labels and a must-visit while you’re in the Hunter Valley. Wine tasting of selection of Brokenwood varietal and single vineyard wines followed by a 3 courses lunch at Brokenwood Wines, including 2 glasses of wine. After lunch, depart for the Hunter Valley Cheese Factory for cheese and olive tasting (tea & coffee included). Return to Sydney. (B/L)

DAY 9 / MARCH 27TH - MYSTERY ISLAND, VANUATU

 Uninhabited and untouched by modern society, Mystery Island will make you believe it wouldn’t be so bad to be a marooned sailor in an old storybook. You’ll find no electricity, roads, or telephones here. A comfortable 30-minute walk will take you on a self-guided tour of the entire island. Only accessible by cruise ship and the nearby inhabitants of Aneityum, you’ll truly get to experience life on a deserted island. Cruise to Mystery Island and explore the white-sand shoreline and its warm waters — go for a snorkel and see an incredible underwater world untouched by human influence. (B/L/D)

DAY 10 / MARCH 28TH - PORT VILLA, VANUATU

 In Port Vila, Vanuatu’s energetic capital, you’ll be greeted by friendly Bislama-speaking locals and street-side markets. Walk around the center of town — you’ll see a touch of French influence remains in the form of bistros and murals. Cruise to Port Vila to explore the hidden waterfalls of the Mele Cascades, tucked away in the Mele village rainforest with plenty of gently sloping hiking trails. Check out Mama’s Market, the cultural hub of Vanuatu, where you can sample local bananas or shop for traditional island handicrafts. Or take the 10-minute boat ride out to Pele Island: Here, you’ll find picturesque beaches shaded by palm trees overlooking turquoise waters that are prime for snorkeling. (B/L/D)

DAY 11 / MARCH 29TH - LIFOU, LOYALTY ISLANDS

 The largest of three islands in the diverse Loyalty Island coral archipelago, Lifou is surrounded by secluded coral reefs, limestone grottoes and powdery white beaches. The locals protect their coral reefs with reverence — head to Jinek Bay to find some of the world’s most beautiful and untouched coral gardens. Cruise to Lifou and take a dip in the natural pool at Jinek, surrounded by steep cliffs, or go snorkeling with the vast array of tropical fish. Stroll the village of Easo, and visit the Notre Dame de Lourdes church, dating back to 1898 — its cliff-top perch is the perfect spot for views of the coral sea. (B/L/D)

DAY 12 / MARCH 30TH - MARE, NEW CALEDONIA

 As the southernmost Loyalty Island, Mare is the first to welcome the sun’s golden rays in the morning. Untouched by the outside world, the island holds a wild beauty supported by environmentally sustainable tourism. The landmass itself is formed from layers of coral, and the entire island is honeycombed with secret freshwater lagoons, grottoes, and sinkholes. Cruise to Mare and head to Yejele Beach to walk the white sands and wade in the aquamarine waters punctuated by colorful coral. Descend into Trou de Bone, a limestone cave leading to lush gardens and a natural pool. Or check out the Yeiwene Yeiwene Cultural Centre to learn more about the indigenous Kanak culture and see the stone ruins of the Hnaenedr wall, which dates to 250 AD. (B/L/D)

 A melting pot of ethnicity and culture, sunny Noumea will quickly win you over with its upbeat city vibe. The capital city of New Caledonia offers some of the best weather in the South Pacific. Noumea’s cultural pride shines through in its museums, theaters and art galleries — check out the Jean-Marie Tjibaou Cultural Centre to explore the traditional Kanak culture. Head to the top of the Noumea Cathedral for views of the island, dotted with palms, hibiscuses, and coconut trees. Hop a ferry out to Amedee Island to see its lighthouse and swim with sea turtles.
