1- Shared half-day Murano and Burano Islands: The Gems of the Lagoon (from Venice):
The first stop after a fascinating boat ride in the Lagoon dominated by nature is Murano, known throughout the world for its glassmaking art. Visit a glassmaking factory to see products being made. During the visit you have the opportunity to buy a piece of the local artwork on site. The tour continues towards Burano, the island famous for its lacemaking and for the brightly-coloured fishermen’s houses. When you get off the boat, you will arrive in a green lane and after a short walk you reach the Island’s main square. The tour includes the service of a specialized official tour leader, providing information on board, and assistance on the islands. From the panoramic boat tour, take marvelous pictures of Venice and its lagoon.

2- Shared full-day Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, and Chianti, with wine tasting (from Florence):
Crossing the beautiful Chianti hills, we arrive at the Medieval hilltop gem of Monteriggioni, with its still intact walls. Here you can drink in history and relive the atmosphere of olden times. Our day tour continues to the stately Siena, famous for its splendid examples of Gothic architecture and the traditional Palio horse race. Follow your local guide to the inspiring Piazza del Campo, where the magnificent Palazzo Pubblico stands, with its Torre del Mangia. Visit Piazza del Duomo and be impressed by the imposing Cathedral, one of the finest achievements of Italian Gothic architecture. Next, we drive to San Gimignano, famous for its white wine, the world renowned Vernaccia, and its five towers, also declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO! The visit is free for independent sightseeing; stroll around the narrow streets and admire the relaxing landscape. At the end of the tour, we move into the Chianti region, with its picture-postcard landscapes. You have the chance to taste the best Chianti red wine in a rustic wine estate, along with homemade snacks and a sample of wines and oil.

3- Shared full-day Tour of Pompeii (from Sorrento):

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the famous archaeological site of Pompeii with an expert official guide. Thanks to the priority entrance, you will skip the stress of a long queue and get inside the ruins quickly. Walk along the ancient “cardini” and “decumani” and explore the remains of prosperous Romans. Pompeii lay buried by volcanic ash from the 1st century eruption of Mount Vesuvius until excavations began in the 18th century. See the baths, streets, bakeries, and forums that were once integral parts of daily life, and marvel at the magnificently preserved frescoes that adorn the fine villas.
