No journey through Canada’s mountainous western provinces would be complete without the unforgettable experience of a rail trip aboard the famed Rocky Mountaineer. Through large picture windows, you’ll enjoy endless vistas of spectacular scenery as you travel in daylight along one of three routes. The First Passage to the West offers service from Banff or Lake Louise to Vancouver, with an overnight in Kamloops. The Journey through the Clouds departs from Jasper with an overnight in Kamloops before continuing on to Vancouver. The Rainforest to Gold Rush travels between North Vancouver and Jasper, with an overnight in Quesnel and Whistler.

New for 2022, Rocky Mountaineer expands their route selection into the United States, travelling between Moab,
Utah and Denver, Colorado on the Rockies to the Red Rocks route reveals the vibrant ‘painted’ rocks of the American southwest, along with an overnight stay in Glenwood Springs.

ROCKY MOUNTAINEER SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS

SILVERLEAF SERVICE (available on all routes)
Onboard, SilverLeaf guests will indulge in mouth-watering gourmet cuisine prepared with regional ingredients and flare, plated to their preference and served seat-side so they don’t have to miss a moment of the splendor outside their partial dome windows. Passengers sip complimentary BC wines and beverages throughout the journey, as their Rocky Mountaineer hosts share historical stories and trivia about the passing landscapes.
SilverLeaf Service passengers will have their luggage delivered to their room in Kamloops or Glenwood Springs. Sliverleaf Plus Service (only available on Rockies to the Red Rocks) includes access to a newly renovated lounge car. Featuring signature cocktails, the lounge car offers additional space indoors to relax and soak in the scenery as it passes you by, as well as a small outdoor viewing area. Also, enjoy an elevated dining experience with an additional course during select meals, and premium alcoholic beverages.

GOLDLEAF SERVICE (available on all routes except Rockies to the Red Rocks)
For those seeking an upgraded service aboard the Rocky Mountaineer, we are pleased to offer the special GoldLeaf Service that features the amenities of the SilverLeaf service and much more. Onboard, GoldLeaf Service is delivered in a domed railcar, offering panoramic views of the mountains from full-length dome windows that extend into the roof of the railcar. Enjoy gourmet breakfast and lunch selections that celebrate Western Canada cuisine, served with elegance and style in the lower level dining room. GoldLeaf Service passengers will have their luggage delivered to their room in Kamloops.
