Corcovado: from many places in the city, the visitor can see the most beautiful postcard of Rio de Janeiro since 1931: Christ the Redeemer statue located at Corcovado mountain, 710 meters above the sea level. This tour begins at Cosme Velho neighborhood, from where the cog train starts the trip up to the statue, through the Tijuca Forest. Once there, a panoramic and extraordinary view of Rio will be seen including the Sugar Loaf, the Guanabara Bay, the beaches of the Southern Zone and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.

DAY 3 RIO DE JANEIRO
Duration: 4 hours approximately.
This tour starts with a panoramic tour of the historic center of Rio, passing by the famous Sambadrome. Afterwards, we will stop at the Metropolitan Cathedral, which was built in a pyramidal shape, with an internal diameter of 96 meters and a height of 80 meters. You’ll have a few minutes to visit the Cathedral until it’s time to get back on the bus and get perspectives of the traditional Cinelândia Square as well as its historic buildings, from the Municipal Theater. Passing by Aterro do Flamengo, we will see one of the most beautiful gardens by Burle Marx, integration between urban space and nature, the Monument to the squares and the Igreja da Glória until we reach Urca, a neighborhood where the Sugarloaf Mountain is located, a one of the most famous symbols of this city.
This visit is made in 2 stages by cable car. The first cable car will take you to the top of Urca Mountain with 215 meters of altitude, where you can enjoy the view of Guanabara Bay, the Rio – Niterói Bridge and Corcovado. From this stage a second cable car will take you to the 2nd mountain with 395 meters, from where you will be able to enjoy the view of Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress and the beaches of Niterói.

After hotel pick-ups you will arrive at a traditional Barbecue Dinner, all you can eat style. Brazilian Churrascaria, offers a wide variety of sides and alternative options. In case you decide to stick with a vegetarian option, you will still leave delighted.
At Ginga Tropical you will get to know every Brazilian region through dance performance and clothing. Brazilian roots combine diversity and culture with the Northeast, the Amazon, the Pampas with its Folklore, Bahia with their mystical rituals and Rio de Janeiro with its incomparable bohemian Lapa, their dance halls and their legendary Tricksters. The show takes a rhythmic tour through tupiniquins lands, passing through Parintins Festival, Lambada, Carimbó, Xaxado, Forró, Frevo, Maculelê, Capoeira, Dance of Orixás, Boleadeiras (RS), Bossa Nova, Samba de Gafieira, the worldwide known carnival and much more.
