About as close to Bali as to some of Australia’s Eastern state capitals, Perth’s combination of big city attractions with relaxed and informal surroundings offers an appealing lifestyle for locals and lots to do for visitors. It’s a sophisticated, cosmopolitan city with myriad bars, restaurants and cultural activities all vying for attention. When you want to chill out, it’s easy to do so. Perth’s pristine parkland, nearby bush, river and ocean beaches – along with a good public transport system – allow its inhabitants to spread out and enjoy what’s on offer. Just 30 minutes from Perth’s city center, the bustling dynamic port city of Fremantle has long been renowned for its eclectic mix of arty and alternative types. Its streets buzz with the song of buskers, the sidewalks fill with a wild collection of art and music floats out from trendy cafés and bars. You need only spend a day in Fremantle to find yourself falling in love with this colorful port city.

DAY 1 PERTH

Arrive into Perth, transfer to your hotel with the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 2 PERTH TO FREMANTLE

A great taster tour taking in Perth and Fremantle, affording the opportunity to drive around these iconic cities with various stops. Starting in Perth, the tour takes in all major attractions of the revitalised Perth CBD, including the Western Australian Cricket Ground (WACA) and Optus Stadium. Then on to Kings Park Botanical Gardens, where you have the opportunity to view wildflowers or take in the stunning views from the war memorial looking back over the City skyline. Continue through the affluent Western Suburbs of Perth, known as Millionaire’s Row before passing Cottesloe Beach where the Indian Ocean sparkles. Travel on into historic Fremantle, viewing the impressive facades of this heritage listed city including a brief stop. To fully enhance and maximise your experience in Fremantle it is highly suggested that you take one of the additional options or include a relaxing Swan River cruise back to Perth (own expense). Alternatively, remain on the coach returning to Perth at approximately 12.30pm. Note: This tour terminates at Barrack Street Jetty in Perth. Hotel drop offs are not included.

DAY 3 PERTH

Board the ferry to explore the natural beauty and history of Rottnest Island with the Grand Island Package. The Rottnest Grand Island Tour is the most comprehensive guided tour of the island allowing you to explore the stunning beauty of this A-Class nature reserve doing a guided bus and train tour, taking in the amazing fauna and flora of the island, stunning beaches, woodlands and incredible salt lakes commencing with a unique historic train ride, light lunch served on return train journey. Bus tour of the island with stops at key locations and cruise back to Northport.

DAY 4 PERTH

Explore the world-renowned Pinnacles Desert, an amazing moon like landscape. Experience off road driving and sand boarding on huge white sand dunes and see wildlife up close. After stopping at Caversham Wildlife Park in the Swan Valley to view koalas, wombats and hand feed the kangaroos, travel along quiet back roads, to the lobster fishing town of Cervantes. Once here, enjoy a behind the scenes factory tour on the processing of Western Australia Rock Lobster, followed by your included fish and chips lunch, or why not upgrade to half a grilled lobster (at extra cost). Then it’s onwards to Nambung National Park to see the mystical Pinnacle Desert for an easy paced walk through the fascinating landscape, giving you the opportunity to really embrace this amazing and mystical place. The highlight of the tour involves 4-wheel driving over the vast sand dunes of Lancelin in custom built vehicles unique to Australian Pinnacle Tours. This is followed by the thrilling experience of downhill sandboarding over these constantly moving dunes. Return to Perth down the Indian Ocean drive arriving at approximately 7.30pm.

Time to bid farewell to Perth and head for the airport for your onward travel arrangements.
