BEACH VILLA

Ode to privacy
10 Beach Villas (about 80sqft) with double room, living room, and bathroom.

They are located on the north side of the island overlooking a large lagoon with access to the barrier reef by swimming from your own private beach. All Beach Villas overlook the ocean and are built with natural materials, according to Maldives’ architectural heritage principles. They are surrounded by a garden with gazebo and hot tub, and are separated from one another by lush vegetation to ensure privacy. One Beach Villa has been retrofit for disability access.

ARCHITECTURE

Unique and original architecture has helped make Nika a style icon. The structure is entirely made of coral blocks: the curvy shapes of the villas draw inspiration from ocean shells. The wooden roofs are covered with ancient palm tree leaves that grow on the island.
All finishes are handmade by the same carpenters who used to build Dhonis, the typical Maldivian boats. Villas feature unique antiques and local artworks, now hard to find in the Maldives.

PRIVATE BEACH

All Villas have a garden with an adjoining private beach: a tribute to privacy and absolute tranquility.
Each private beach is equipped with wooden beach umbrellas, beach chairs, hot tub and an outdoor shower.

FREE WIFI

Villas are equipped with a modem that allows guests to surf the Internet free of charge. Data packages can be activated at the Front Office to ensure connection throughout the island.

AIR CONDITIONING

Master bedrooms in all villas are equipped with both an AC system and a ceiling fan.

MINI BAR

Each Villa has a mini bar stocked with soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and a selection of snacks.

DISABLED ACCESS

A number of beach villas have been equipped for guests with disabilities: flat surfaces, handrails and supports have been installed in all spaces.
A walkway connects each villa to the beach, making access to the ocean a luxury for everyone.

WATER VILLA

8 Water Villas (about 1200sqft) with double room, living room, bathroom, patio with direct access to the beach, and solarium.

Water Villas are located within the lagoon on the north side of the island, overlooking one of the best preserved barrier reefs in the Indian Ocean. Water Villas are on 3 levels, the first is on the water, for diving straight in; the second is a wooden terrace where you can relax on comfortable deck chairs; the third is on the roof, with a solarium from which to admire the ocean and enjoy the pleasant sea breeze. Guests have access to the two public beaches with sun beds, showers and beach umbrellas, one by the Water Villas boardwalk, and the other in front of the coffee shop on the west side of the island.
