DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN LISBON

Arrival at Lisbon airport and then private transfer to your hotel. Rest of day is free. Overnight in Lisbon.

DAY 2 LISBON

Breakfast at the hotel. Take a half-day tour of Lisbon, one of the oldest capitals of Europe. Lisbon is a city of pastel colors and cobblestone streets, of vistas and monuments. Start by promenading in one of the typical old quarters of Lisbon, Alfama, walking through its narrow streets with Arab influence, its winding alleys, colorful houses, and endless stairs. Proceed to the historic district of Belém, where we can find many of the most prestigious monuments of the city, including the Jerónimos Monastery (exterior) and Belém Tower (exterior), both good examples of the 16th century’s Manueline style, and finally the Monument to the Discoveries (exterior). It’s time to taste the delicious “Pastéis de Belém”, the typical pastry of Lisbon. Rest of day is free. Tonight, you’ll have dinner in a typical restaurant, with Fado show. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 3 LISBON - QUELUZ - SINTRA - CASCAIS - ESTORIL - LISBON

Breakfast at the hotel. Take a full-day tour around Lisbon coast. Departure towards Queluz, known for its royal palace (visit). This graceful building, inspired by Versailles, does not lack privacy despite the luxury and the fantasy of its decoration. The French gardens adds a charming note of freshness and tranquility. Proceed to the medieval village of Sintra, former Royal summer residence and chosen to inspire writers and poets, such as Lord Byron who named it “the Garden of Eden”. Its exceptional location at the foot of the mountain that bears his name, has been for centuries the privileged residence of princes, artists, and writers. Free time to lunch. Drive along the beaches of Guincho and visit of Cascais and Estoril, renown seaside resorts close to Lisbon. Return to Lisbon to overnight.
