Rangiroa, known as the Diving Mecca of French Polynesia has the world’s second largest atoll. The island is surrounded by 240 islets strung together in a circle with a massive deep lagoon which abounds in tropical fish, manta rays, dolphins, sharks and whales depending on your location. You don’t have to be an avid diver for Rangiroa to appeal. Snorkelers will be treated to a once in a lifetime opportunity to swim and view some amazing undersea life.
