DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN ATHENS (SUNDAY)

Arrival at Athens International Airport, assistance, and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 2 NAUPLIA – OLYMPIA (MONDAY)

Depart for three-day trip via the coastal National highway for the Corinth Canal (short stop). After the Corinth Canal, drive to Epidaurus and visit the ancient theatre, world famous for its outstanding acoustics. In the afternoon (optional stop for souvenirs), depart for Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, through the cities of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Overnight stay in Olympia.

DAY 3 OLYMPIA – DELPHI (TUESDAY)

Visit the Olympia archaeological site with the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium and the archaeological Museum. In the afternoon visit the picturesque mountain village of Arachova. Overnight stay in Delphi.

DAY 4 DELPHI – ATHENS (WEDNESDAY)

DAY 5 ATHENS (THURSDAY)

After breakfast, you will take the Athens half-day tour. Depart for a photo-stop at Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. See the main attractions such as votives, artifacts of everyday life, statues from archaic period, Caryatids, and of course the Parthenon Hall with the metopes, the pediments and the frieze, will impress you.

DAY 6 ATHENS (FRIDAY)

Breakfast and free day to enjoy the beautiful city of Athens or enjoy an optional one-day cruise (+$).

DAY 7 ATHENS - CAIRO (SATURDAY)

Breakfast and then departure for Cairo (flight not included). Arrival at the Cairo International airport, meet/assist through the Immigration and custom formalities, and then transfer to the hotel for check in. Overnight Cairo.

DAY 8 CAIRO (SUNDAY)

After breakfast, start the tour to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, here we shall provide you with a brief, but colorful insight into the five-thousand-year history of our fascination. Visit the Moslem sector where you can see Salah El Din Citadel, followed by Mohamed Ali Mosque Continue to visit One of the Seven Wonders of the world, the Pyramids of Giza “Cheops, Mekerinus and Chephren”. Your tour ends with a visit of the majestic Sphinx, which is the largest single block sculpture located at the foot of the grandest Pyramid, Chephren. Return to the hotel, evening at leisure and overnight Cairo.

DAY 9 CAIRO – FLIGHT TO LUXOR AND EMBARKATION ON CRUISE SHIP (MONDAY)

Buffet breakfast and check-out and transfer to the Cairo Domestic Airport for departure flight to Luxor (flight not included). Arrival at Luxor airport, meet/assist and transfer to embark the cruise ship. Lunch on board, visit the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor temples, dinner on board and overnight Luxor.

DAY 10 CRUISE (TUESDAY)

Breakfast on board, Visit the West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut Temple at Al Deir El Bahari and Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on board and sail to Edfu. Dinner is on board and overnight Edfu.

DAY 11 CRUISE (WEDNESDAY)

Breakfast on board, visit the temple of Horus in Edfu, sail to Komombo. Lunch on board before visiting the temple shared by the two gods, Sobek and Harories. Sail to Aswan and dinner is on board. Overnight aboard the ship in Aswan.

DAY 12 CRUISE (THURSDAY)

Breakfast on board, then visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries and Philae Temple. After lunch on board, in the afternoon, take a felucca ride, passing by the Botanical Garden and Agha Khan Mausoleum. Dinner on board and overnight Aswan.

DAY 13 ASWAN – DEBARKATION AND FLIGHT TO CAIRO (FRIDAY)

Disembarkation after breakfast, and transfer to Aswan airport for departure flight to Cairo (flight not included). Arrival at the Cairo Domestic airport. Meet/assist before transferring to the hotel, check-in and overnight Cairo.
