DAY 1 ZURICH ‐ AROSA (150km)

Collect your rental car and start driving from Zürich, Switzerland’s largest city on the banks of the lake with the same name. This route also takes in views of Lake Walensee and follows the route into the Grison, via Chur. Enjoy the fresh mountain air in the resort of Arosa at 1,775 m above sea level.

DAY 2 AROSA ‐ ST. MORITZ (250km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, en route to the world‐renowned resort, famous for its luxurious hotels and its glamorous setting, takes you through alpine passes such as Albula and Julier. A stop for a stroll through the typical villages, such as Zuoz or Bever, is a must.

DAY 3 ST. MORITZ ‐ ANDERMATT (approx. 300km)

Breakfast at the hotel. This route takes you past the Viamala Gorge into the Mediterranean Ticino and on over the Lukmanier and Oberalp Passes into the source region of the Rhine, Reuss and Rhone at the Gotthard.

DAYS 4 & 5 ANDERMATT ‐ ZERMATT (approx. 250km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you depart heading north to cross the famous St. Gotthard Pass and Furka Pass before moving down to Täsch, and dropping off your car as you continue to Zermatt. Your drive takes you through awe‐inspiring valleys and towering mountain peaks on a gently winding route over the Furka Pass, with wonderful views over the Rhone Glacier as you descend. Via Brig you reach Täsch, where you will drop off your car during your stay in the car free village of Zermatt. A quick train journey takes you up to world‐renowned resort, dominated by one of the most famous peaks in the Alps, the Matterhorn. Gornergrat Mountain (excursion included which can be taken on day 5).

DAY 6 ZERMATT ‐ DEPARTURE
