DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN DUBLIN

Welcome to Dublin, capital city of Ireland! On arrival transfer to your hotel in the city centre. Depending on your time of arrival you may want to explore the city. Why not include a city walking tour with a local guide to learn about the history, live and culture of Dublin or use your 2-Day Hop On Hop Off Pass to explore the city? Take the opportunity to visit Trinity College to view the beautifully illuminated Book of Kells and the National Museum of Ireland (entry free of charge).

DAY 2 DUBLIN

After breakfast, discover more of the city, with your Hop On Hop Off Pass. Make sure to visit EPIC – the Irish Emigration Museum and experience not only what it means to be Irish, but the impact the 10 million Irish men and women who left Ireland had on the world. Visit the National Leprechaun Museum – a storytelling experience filled with fun and folklore and a chance to immerse yourself in the Otherworld, home of leprechauns and other mythical creatures.

DAY 3 DUBLIN TO KILLARNEY BY TRAIN

In the morning, take the train to Killarney. Explore the city with its shops and restaurants and take a traditional jaunting car around the town which is a unique option to show you some of the hidden delights of Killarney National Park, the famous Lakes of Killarney and the Native Red Deer herds. The Gap of Dunloe shares in some of the most beautiful and inspiring scenery to be found in the world, with a rugged landscape and series of glacial lakes connected by a single stream known as a ‘pater noster’. This evening, why not include an Irish Whiskey Experience (optional +$) - a sensory and interactive experience that guides visitors through the history of Irish distilling, the process and a comparative tasting of delicious Irish whiskeys – paired with farmhouse Irish cheeses.

DAY 4 KILLARNEY – RING OF KERRY

Take a day tour to the Ring of Kerry, which brings you along the Atlantic Coast and is one of the highlights of a trip to Ireland. Quiet valleys and idyllic spots await along the way. The breathtaking beauty of the landscape on the peninsula will delight you. The mild climate influenced by the Gulf Stream accounts for luscious growth of surprising flora such as subtropical Palm trees.

DAY 5 KILLARNEY – DINGLE PENINSULA

Take a day tour to Dingle Peninsula on Ireland’s southwest Atlantic coast, is ringed by sandy beaches and craggy cliffs. Inland are rolling hills and mountains, including 952m Mount Brandon. The region’s an officially recognised bastion of Irish language and culture. Dunmore Head, mainland Ireland’s easternmost point, has views of the Blasket Islands, famous for Irish-language memoirs documenting rural life in the 1800s and 1900s.

DAY 6 KILLARNEY TO DUBLIN BY TRAIN - WICKLOW - KILKENNY

In the morning, return to Dublin by train, and take a day tour to Wicklow and Kilkenny. From golden sandy beaches to rolling hills and valleys, Wicklow’s unique topography means that, yet another stunning scene awaits just minutes away no matter where you are in the county. Kilkenny’s heritage is evident in the city and surroundings including the historic buildings such as Kilkenny Castle, St. Canice’s Cathedral and round tower, Rothe House, Shee Alms House, Black Abbey and St. Mary’s Cathedral. One of the most instantly recognised buildings in Ireland, Kilkenny Castle has been an important site since it was built by the Anglo-Normans in the 12th century. The castle has been remodeled in Victorian times and set in extensive parklands. In the evening, why not conclude your holiday with a traditional Irish evening of food, song and dancing.
