Upon your arrival at Livingstone or Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met and welcomed by a representative from Chobe Game Lodge. You will be transferred by road to the Lodge. Experience this legendary lodge made famous by Richard Burton and Elisabeth Taylor who celebrated their second wedding at Chobe Game Lodge. After settling into your luxurious Honeymoon Suite, you will have time to freshen up and relax. Enjoy a delicious lunch served on the terrace restaurant overlooking the Chobe River. Set out on your afternoon game activity, a sundowner cruise on the magnificent Chobe River or an exciting game drive exploring the Chobe area. Sunset Cruises are spectacular as you will be able to view wildlife that congregates at the water’s edge and enjoy a spectacular African sunset.

The Chobe National Park is famous for its huge herds of elephant and buffalo and magnificent star-gazing. Your professional guide will be happy to show you the African skies, explaining the stars while sharing local folklore. The honeymoon package includes a sunrise breakfast cruise on the Chobe River for a chance to take in the tranquillity of the Chobe River in the early morning.

After your final morning activity at Chobe Game Lodge, you head back to Kasane Airport for your light aircraft transfer to Camp Moremi in the Moremi Game Reserve. Your light aircraft flight will offer you an introduction to the Okavango Delta as you witness the vastness of the world heritage site from the air. Landing at the Moremi airstrip, your guide will meet you and transfer you by road to Camp Moremi where you can settle into your luxurious tent. You will spend the next three nights at Camp Moremi enjoying game drives and boating excursions as you search for the prolific wildlife that inhabits the Moremi Game Reserve. Your honeymoon package includes a private dinner setup in a remote location of the lodge where you can take in the lodge’s romantic bushveld setting.

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Moremi Game Reserve before your light aircraft transfer to Camp Okavango, a remote lodge on a private concession in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Originally built in 1982, Camp Okavango is one of the original safari camps on the Okavango Delta. Now rebuilt as an all new luxury safari lodge, Camp Okavango is the perfect base from which to experience the Okavango Delta. Here you will spend the next two nights exploring the intricacies of the Okavango Delta from a variety of activities including mokoro excursions, boating safaris and guided bush walks. Your honeymoon package includes a 60-minute helicopter scenic flight including a private romantic champagne sundowner on a remote island in the Okavango Delta.

Your final stop for of your honeymoon package is Leroo La Tau. You will catch a light aircraft from Camp Okavango to Leroo La Tau before transferring by road the lodge, set on the banks of the Boteti River, overlooking the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. You will spend the next two nights at Leroo La Tau enjoying daily game drives along the Boteti River to witness the prolific wildlife that frequent the region. Option excursions to the nearby Khumaga village are also available for a chance to experience Botswana’s unique culture. As a final farewell gift, you will enjoy a traditional Setswana blessing with the staff at Leroo La Tau and members of the khumaga community. After your two-night stay at Leroo la Tau you will be transferred by light aircraft to Maun for your onward journey..

Chobe Game Lodge is designed as a haven of peace and privacy – where relaxation is effortless and you can enjoy your own space. With six comfortably furnished viewing decks, a riverside boma, two bars, six different lounges and four dining locations, a comfy chair or lounger is never far away, each with a different perspective on the wilderness that surrounds the lodge. A large swimming pool provides welcome relief during hot afternoons and there is always a waiter on hand to bring you refreshments from the bar.

Chobe Game Lodge can accommodate up to ninety-four people in total luxury. Each of the forty-seven rooms at the lodge is river-facing and air-conditioned, featuring overhead fans, complimentary mini bar, en-suite bathrooms and a private terrace. For those guests who demand the ultimate in exclusivity, the Lodge has four river-view suites, each with its own plunge pool and separate lounge area.

At the point where the life-giving waters of the Okavango Delta meet the vast plains of the Kalahari Desert, Mother Nature has created a sanctuary of Mopane forests, open grasslands, seasonal floodplains and riverine habitats, resulting in one of the most magnificent and welcoming animal environments in all of Africa. Peeking out beneath giant ebony trees, Camp Moremi brings true meaning to the word safari in the Xakanaxa area of the Moremi Game Reserve. 12 Luxurious East-African style safari tents, raised on teak platforms, accommodate just 24 people.

This remote lodge is in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Botswana’s magnificent Okavango Delta is a maze of lagoons, lakes and hidden channels which attract wildlife that depend on the permanent waters of this unique wilderness. Camp Okavango is situated on the remote Nxaraga Island, hidden amongst the beautiful ancient Mangosteen trees, in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta. Camp Okavango has 12 luxury East-African style safari tents with sliding glass doors on raised platforms, accommodating just 24 people.

A superb site on the banks of the Boteti River, opposite the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, one of Botswana’s most diverse national parks, one which offers sanctuary to the second largest zebra migration in the world during the dry season when the water dries up in the salt pans. Leroo La Tau which translates as “lions paw” in Setswana, is a magnificent location. All 12 of its luxurious thatched and glass fronted suites are raised on wooden platforms on the high banks of the Boteti River with 270 degree panoramic views of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. The dining area, lounge, cocktail bar and a first floor wildlife reference library, are all tucked under the eaves of the thatch and timber main building. There is an evening campfire boma as well as a covered viewing hide all overlooking the banks of the Boteti River.

Leroo La Tau offers the following activities:

Day and night game drives via open Land Cruisers to explore this unique wilderness

Depending on the water level of the Boteti River, boat activities can also be provided
