DAY 1 POREC
Arrival on your own at the hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is at leisure. This evening let’s get together with our fellow travelers for a welcome dinner at the hotel.

DAY 2 HALF DAY CITY TOUR OF POREC
Join us for a half day guided walking tour of the historic town of Poreč. We’ll discover Poreč’s old town and view its churches, medieval walls, round towers, and Gothic and Baroque houses. We will also pay a visit to Euphrasius Basilica, a UNESCO protected architectural complex which is one of the best examples of early Byzantine architecture in the Mediterranean. Our afternoon will be free for lunch (under own arrangements) and shopping.

DAY 3 DAY AT LEISURE
Today we will be free to explore the locality at our own pace. Perhaps we’ll revisit the pretty streets of Poreč to further explore its numerous monasteries, churches, quaint cafés or even the Baredine Cave!

DAY 4 DAY AT LEISURE
On this day of leisure, why not take a dip in the clear aquamarine waters of the Adriatic, or try some delicious local specialties in one of the many reasonably priced cafes and restaurants in Poreč?

DAY 5 FULL DAY BOAT TOUR TO ROVINJ
Let’s enjoy today’s full day guided boat tour to Rovinj, known as the ‘Blue Pearl of the Adriatic’. From Poreč’s picturesque harbour we will sail towards the beautiful town of Vrsar for a panoramic boat tour. We’ll continue sailing along Lim Bay to view Romuald’s Cave from outside. The trip will finish with a visit to the idyllic town of Rovinj, which is characterized by tall houses, narrow paved streets and small squares. After a short tour of the historic centre, we’ll have some free time to swim in the crystal-clear waters. Lunch is included today. (B/D)

DAY 6 FULL DAY GUIDED TOUR OF PULA AND MOTOVUN
We’ll learn all about Pula and Motovun during today’s guided tour. Pula is famous for its Roman architecture. Highlights of our tour will include the Triumphal Arch of the Sergi, dating back to the 1st century B.C., Hercules’ Gate, the Twin Gates, the Temple of Augustus and the Amphitheatre. After our city tour and some free time, we’ll continue to Motovun, a historic Istrian hilltop town with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. A local shuttle bus will transfer us from the coach park to the town. Or, for the optional walk uphill to the centre, sturdy shoes are recommended!

DAY 7 DAY AT LEISURE
The final day of our holiday will be free to spend as you wish. Spend some time by the sea or visit Poreč to pick up some souvenirs or local Istrian treats to take home.

DAY 8 DEPARTURE
The time has come to say goodbye to Croatia’s Istrian coast. After breakfast, we will check out. End of services.
