fountains and sculptures, and of course the Obelisco, undisputable emblem and gravitational center of the city. From here the tour travels back in time to San Telmo, the oldest districts in the city, where each Sunday an antiques’ market takes place, and which boasts an attracting night vibe with gourmet restaurants, lively bars and, of course, the “tanguerias” (restaurants with live tango). Moving on southwards, we reach the picturesque port district of La Boca, with its famous alley Caminito whose colored tin houses and customs reflect the influence of the 19th century European immigrants in the typical “cantinas” (small restaurants) and “conventillos” (tenement houses). The visit continues to Puerto Madero, with its old port warehouses turned into offices, apartments, world-class restaurants and bars, with an amazing view of the docks and the Rio de la Plata. Finally, we continue to the residential neighborhood of Palermo with its elegant mansions and ample parks, to end at La Recoleta, where there are remarkable sights such as the church of Nuestra Señora del Pilar, the Cultural Center and the circular building of the Palais de Glace. We will visit the cemetery, surprising for its rich architecture, for its suggestive stories and the relevant historic figures buried there, among whom Evita is probably the most renowned. Return to hotel.

Beagle Channel Cruise - Penguins and Sea Lions.
Depart from the hotel to the tourist wharf of Ushuaia where a catamaran is boarded to navigate the waters of the Beagle channel along the Bay of Ushuaia, from where you get a panoramic view of the city. Traverse the north shore of the
channel passing through the Archipelago Bridges and Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (end of the world), where you can see colonies of many seabirds that nest on islands and cliffs, colonies of sea lions and various birds of the marine and coastal environment (cormorants, albatrosses, Petrels and oystercatchers, among others). After a visit to Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, the excursion continues towards the Estancia Remolino and Gable island. Finally, arrive at Martillo Island,
where every year a colony of Magellanic penguins install their nests. After spending some time observing the movements and behavior of these curious birds, return to the city of Ushuaia, and after landing, arrive finally at the hotel.
From April to September this excursion is replaced with Beagle Channel Cruise - Isle of the Birds and Sea Lions: Depart from the hotel to the tourist wharf of Ushuaia where a catamaran is boarded to head towards the Bird and Sea Lions Islands through the waters of the Beagle Channel. The tour begins sailing around the Bay of Ushuaia from where you get an excellent panoramic view of the city surrounded by mountains. At the end of the bay, cross Paso Chico, indicating the start of the mythical Beagle Channel. It borders the northern coast of this channel, passing through the Archipelago Bridges to reach the Island of the Birds, where you can see a diversity of seabirds that inhabit the area, such as cormorants, albatrosses, ducks and seagulls, among others. Later go to the Isla de los Lobos, presenting an interesting colony of sea lions. It’s a unique opportunity to appreciate, at the same time, sea lions of one and with two hairs, and understand their differences. Reach the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. From there begins the final return to the city, and after the landing, arrive at the hotel.
