DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN BARCELONA (MONDAY)

Arrival at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Join your Travel Director for your Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant and enjoy the opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers over a delightful evening of good food and wine. Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 2 BARCELONA (TUESDAY)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city tour of Barcelona. Drive along the main avenues with its impressive Gaudi modernist buildings such as La Pedrera and Casa Batlló, Montjuïc Park with spectacular views of the city and harbor, the Olympic Ring, the monument to Columbus and the Olympic Port. Visit the most important landmark in the city of Barcelona, Sagrada Familia. Continue to Port Vell to board a catamaran and sail along the beautiful coastline of Barcelona. Upon arrival, the crew will welcome you on board with music, a courtesy drink and a typical local tapa to start the experience in a Mediterranean style. You can sit in the shaded aft seats to feel the sea breeze on your face or lie on the forward nets in the sun to tan and be closer to the sea. This experience is the ideal complement to getting to know Barcelona from all perspectives. The afternoon is for you to keep discovering this city.

DAY 3 BARCELONA – PENÍSCOLA – VALENCIA (WEDNESDAY)

Breakfast at the hotel. We set off towards Valencia, following the Costa Dorada and the Ebro Delta until we reach Peñíscola, where we can see the film locations of “El Cid” and “Game of Thrones”. We will then continue to Valencia, where we will taste a typical “horchata” (tiger milk). We will discover the city, one of the main capitals of the Mediterranean coast, with its modern Arts and Sciences Architectural Complex integrated by six elements: Hemispheric, Umbracle, Science Museum, Oceanographic, Palau of the Arts and Ágora. Explore the old town and the exterior of the most avant-garde complex: Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 4 VALENCIA – GRANADA (THURSDAY)

After breakfast, we continue towards Andalusia to reach Granada. This city, located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, between the Darro and Genil rivers, is one of the jewels of Andalusia. Here, the impressive Andalusian legacy, represented by the Alhambra, is complemented by Renaissance architectural gems. We will have the chance to learn how to dance flamenco before attending a dinner with a flamenco show in one of the most typical venues in Granada. After dinner, we invite you to take the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful views of Granada from one of the city’s viewpoints. Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 5 GRANADA – SEVILLE (FRIDAY)

After breakfast, visit the world-famous Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens. Then, among olive trees and white villages, we continue to Seville, the capital of Andalusia. Tonight, you will have the opportunity to share a typical dinner with your fellow travelers and discover the traditional Andalusian cuisine. Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 6 SEVILLE (SATURDAY)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city tour of the Andalusian Capital, Seville. Visit the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome. Continue to the Santa Cruz Quarter, the natural scenario of Carmen as well as the myth of Don Juan, Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. The afternoon is at leisure for you to enjoy the city of light.

DAY 7 SEVILLE – CORDOBA – MADRID (SUNDAY)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Cordoba, the ancient capital of the caliphate. Arrive in Cordoba and enjoy a tour of its impressive Mosque and its narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter. Continue to Madrid, driving through the natural border of Despeñaperros and along La Mancha, Don Quixote’s land before arriving in Madrid. Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 8 MADRID (MONDAY)

Breakfast at the hotel. Discover the beauty of the city with a guided city tour. Barrio de la Morería, the Hapsburgs District, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa; the Madrid of the Bourbons and the complex town planning schemes of Charles III, the Royal Palace, Cibeles and Neptuno Fountains and the Puerta de Alcalá. See contemporary Madrid with areas such as Gran Vía, Castellana, the district of Salamanca and the emblematic Santiago Bernabéu Football Stadium. During the visit, we will taste the typical chocolate with churros, the most Madrid-style snack. The afternoon at leisure to continue exploring the wonders that the city has to offer. Join your fellow travelers for a Farewell dinner of regional favorites.
